In order to showcase the City of Richmond’s amazing culinary diversity, which includes restaurants renowned for serving some of the best Chinese cuisine in the world, award-winning destination marketing organization (DMO),Tourism Richmond, held a global audition for “Richmond’s Foodie Blogger”. The job description was as follows: “For 365 days, a social media whiz will get the chance to sample all the amazing fare our thriving destination of 200,000 residents and 800+ restaurants has to offer—one meal and one restaurant at a time. Applications for this once-in-a-lifetime employment opportunity will be accepted throughout the month of March 2012.”
